Autism Society of Greater New Orleans Inclusive Halloween Party

This is a free event hosted by the Autism Society of Greater New Orleans. Open to all ages for trick-or-treating and Halloween fun, including free family photos! Costumes are not required, but are encouraged. This event is inclusive of sensory needs and dietary restrictions.
Boo at the Zoo

This holiday camp at the Ree Alario Center is specifically for special needs ages 4-13. The camp features "arts and crafts, sports, games, special events, outdoor and indoor activities, movie, and so much more at camp!". Family Gras is a free celebration in Metairie to come enjoy outdoor concerts, face painting, food vendors, and games. Parades roll directly next to Family Gras activities such as: Krewe of Excalibur, Magical Krewe of Mad Hatters, Krewe of Atlas, and the Krewe of Caerus.

Camp Tiger

Camp tiger is a free, weeklong camp serving kids ages 6-15 with special needs. The camp is staffed by current first year medical students of the LSUHSC School of Medicine. There are two medical students for every camper. Use link for Camp Tiger 2024 Camper Application as spots are limited.
Camp Able

Serving ages 10 and up. Camp Able is exclusively for neurodivergent individuals to be able to participate in activities such as: dancing, arts and crafts, nature adventures, outside activities, games, and putting on a second line performance. KEEP CHECKING LINK FOR 2024 REGISTRATION
Ree Alario - Camp Rainbow
Ree Alario Special Needs Center. 6900 Saints Dr, Metairie, LA 70003
A day camp designed for youth ages 6-13 with development disabilities. Campers participate in games, arts and crafts, physical activities, and special events. Their website states ‘We serve children who can function in a group setting and can independently manage their self-care needs. Because we do not provide one on one supervision, we cannot accommodate children with a pattern of aggressive or self-injurious behaviors, or elopement.’ Cost is $350 for session 1 and $246 for session 2. SkyHawks MultiSport Camp (Ages 7-12)

Serving ages 7-12, these 3-4 day long camps combine 10 different sports throughout the week to young athletes. All participants receive a t-shirt and their website states to bring: appropriate clothing and shoes, 2 snacks, a lunch, a refillable water bottle, and sunscreen. Mini-Hawk MultiSport Camp (Ages 4-6)

Serving ages 4-6, these 4-5 day long camps combine 10 different sports throughout the week to young athletes. Serving ages 7-14 (ages will vary by classes). Art 504 provides weekly themed camps with themes such as: ‘Creative Writing, Illustration and Scriptwriting’, ‘Bywater Mid Summer Mardi Gras Parade Camp’, ‘Toy Design Expo’, ‘Culinary Arts and Set Design’, ‘Fantasy Camp, Dungeons & Dragons’. Serving kids 4-8 for a weeklong (Monday – Friday) camp. The camp will remain open on Memorial Day May, 27, Wednesday June 19th, and Thursday, July 4th. Weekly camp cost: $325 for LCM members/week and $375 for non-members/week.
